	UStED – Urban Sustainability through Environmental Design, is an International network of urban design theorists and practitioners. UStED members include: Lars Gemzoe, Dr. Sergio Porta, Dr. Barbara Golicnik, Alice Mathers, Dr. John Renne, Dr. Ombretta Romice, Ian Simkins, Dr. Kevin Thwaites and Dr. Marcus Zepf. UStED was formed to research, co-ordinate and disseminate tools of sustainable urban design, with special emphasis on urban public space and its value to sustaining fulfilled lives.
